Allow styling of the pane buttons

Currently it's not possible to style the buttons like "show hidden files", history and back and forth navigation that are part of the pane border (these buttons use core.frame).

In my case I'd like to style these to have the same color as core._default_, but perhaps it's desirable to introduce new keyword?

To clarify: it's not possible to change their colors (it's possible to change the characters).

The problem I see here is that we're standing just next to an endlessly deep rabbit hole.

Is it okay if they'd be all the same, or would you want them to be of a different color for each button?
Should the styling apply to [ ] that surround the history button or not?
Let's style the directory name of the non-focused panel.
Let's style the mini status bar.
Let's style the disk usage info.
Let's style the vertical separator for tagged files (as e.g. in mashdark256 it's pretty prominent that they're skipped).
Let's style the ↓n differently than Name Size... in the header.
Let's style the shortcut keys in the menus.
And so on and so forth...

We've done a lot of skin improvements lately, but honestly, I'd probably draw the line here, at least for now.

If we were to address it, I'd consider the possibility that rather than some one-off new color keyword for these, could we perhaps generally make each skinnable character also have its custom colors; something like hiddenfiles-hide-char = ○;green;red;bold; if omitted then defaulting to whatever colors the context already uses. (However, due to the palette-based approach having to preallocate the colors, you wouldn't be able to let's say change the foreground but keep the background inherited from the context.) (Also the online skin editor would need to be heavily updated, it's not easy.)

Understood. I just wanted to bring up any styling options that I wish I had when working on the skin since there are multiple breaking changes coming up. I hear you that this may be too far.
