Navbar burger menu remains permanently open on screens (768px to 991px)

Hello,

On medium-width/tablet screens (768px to 991px), the navbar menu is always visible and instantly pops back open.

Reproduce:

1. Open the website and resize the browser window to any width between 768px and 991px. (tested with firefox and chrome)
2. The navigation menu is visible vertically under the header/logo.
3. Click the burger menu icon, the menu will slide up to close, but will instantly pop back open once the closing animation finishes.

I think that this issue is also referring to this bug.
