I am trying to export to an external hard drive using command: ./imessage-exporter -f html -o /Volumes/Elements #6 -c clone. However, I received error:

When I try to run again, I receive:
Invalid options!
Specified export path "Volumes/Elements" contains existing "html" export data!

The illegal bite sequence is a platform issue, probably from macOS, when imessage-exporter is attempting to write a file with a group chat name that doesn't contain valid UTF-8. Do you have any group chats with strange names?

The "Specified export path "Volumes/Elements" contains existing "html" export data!" message is preventing you from overwriting your existing export with a new one.
