Most likely because tables<3.11 is not built for python314 (https://pypi.org/project/tables/3.11.0/#files). I saw you pin the version to under 3.11. I also had at some points issues with blosc2 but I can't reproduce at the moment. Could you link a test that failed because of this version?

yeah I hotfixed to pin because 3.11.0 was breaking for us. tables 3.11.1 is out so will try that in a new PR.
