Palettes are sometimes empty for one-color images

I've noticed an issue where sometimes images that only have one color generates an empty (or almost empty) Palette.
For example:

  • empty palette

  • only returns Muted swatch (rgb 116, 84, 148)

Good news: The first empty pallete is now resolved as-of v4. However, the Purple image:

Still only returns Muted. Marking as a bug and may try to revisit, but IDK a simple fix, admittedly

My question would be - what is the desired outcome here?
If I supply image with one colour - I would expect one colour back to be honest. Or am I missing something?
It doesn't have different colours to pick from. So would we want the object to be returned with 6 elements with exactly the same parameters? Or just one in the end?
