Chat messages randomly disappear during conversation

Describe the bug
Messages in the conversation history randomly disappear during a session in the OpenWork GUI. Previous messages vanish without warning, making it impossible to maintain context. This happens repeatedly and consistently.

Expected behavior
All messages should persist throughout the session without disappearing.

Steps to reproduce

1. Open OpenWork GUI on Windows
2. Start a new conversation with an LLM agent
3. Exchange several messages (4-5 messages)
4. Continue chatting and notice that previous messages have disappeared from the chat history
5. The UI appears to lose state, only showing recent messages
6. This happens repeatedly in the same session
