Describe the problem

Well astro doesn't have .html files, this is a problem if you are making an extension in astro because .html are generated at build time.

It means you cannot use the csxjs viteplugin.

Describe the proposed solution

My proposal is to have an official astro plugin (It can also be unofficial) for projects who want to use astro to build.

Benefits is you get to use astro actions, content collections and more.

Alternatives considered

1. Not making an extension in astro.
2. Making an plugin, but unoffical.

Isn't astro a server-first framework?
It generates html from js files so you would need to configure it to have non-dynamic names for them and include paths in the manifest i guess

Yes but if output: "static" then it generates files that have no dymanic names, I think. Yes astro is server first framework, but you can configure it to output static files.
