can we use MSYS2 GCC for compiling?

currently, MSVC is the only provided way in for compiling emscripten in Windows. adding MSYS2 GCC as alternative option would be useful since GCC is widely thought to be much smaller than Visual Studio.

I'm not quite sure what you are asking about since emscripten itself is not written in C/C++. Are you talking about the llvm and binaryen dependencies of emscripten perhaps?

These requirement come from llvm and binaryen. If you can build with me MSYS2 GCC that would work fine.
