Description
I've encountered a bug after updating from version 1.6.6 to 1.9.0 of the DrawIO extension. Here's the rundown:
Issue:
After the update, new shapes are always non-sketch, even though I've set the checkmark for the diagram to sketch mode. This was working fine in version 1.6.6.
Workaround:
You can set the default style of a particular shape, and it will take that into account for new instances of that shape. Additionally, you can switch all existing instances of any shape in your diagram from sketch to non-sketch manually, but this is just a workaround for the bug.
Additional Observations:
In version 1.6.6, the "preview" of the shapes in the toolbar would switch between sketch and non-sketch modes. However, in version 1.9.0, the previews do not update accordingly.
Impact:
I prefer using sketch mode for most of my diagrams. While this isn't a huge deal, it annoyed me enough to downgrade back to version 1.6.6 for the time being.
Environment:
VSCode: 1.99.3
DrawIO Extension: Tested 1.6.6 (works), 1.7.0 (issues observed), 1.9.0 (issues observed)
OS: Win11 23H2 (22631.5189)
Hope this helps in identifying and fixing the issue. Let me know if I can support with more details
Love the extension otherwise, thank you for your great work!
