Mono-Basic as Interpreter?

Hi All,

I am developing a cross-platform project and am looking for a type of Visual Basic 6 (or similar) interpreter that I can embed in the project.

I wanted to try and find out if Mono-Basic could be used as an interpreter instead of a compiler?

If not, then do you have any possible solutions that I might investigate?
