A few notes and future plans

We have a new maintainer joining the team with @Ribas160! 🎉

We have to thank them for this releases' theme switching and multi-file upload, as well as the clipboard support and many UI improvements in the previous one.

Barring any critical issues, that we'd consider backporting, this might be the last 1.7-release. Next we intend to introduce a number of major changes, such as switching defaults in the configuration files and publish that as a new major release (2.0.0). Most of these are already available as non-default settings, such as the bootstrap5 template, allowing partially reverting by configuration if necessary. As the look and feel for users will change significantly, we consider it a breaking change signified by a major number change.
