accents français non reconnus

Bonjour
j'utilise actuellement BRACKETS pour mon site perso en HTML. Cela fonctionne parfaitement bien. Mais compte tenu de la fin prochaine du support de BRACKETS sur les MAC SILICON j'ai essayé PHOENIX CODE.
Je travaille donc sur mes fichiers créés avec BRACKETS. Le problème c'est PHOENIX ne reconnaît aucun accent français qui se retrouve alors remplacé par 1 point d'exclamation. cf photo
exsite-t il un reglage ou une extension ? ou suis je condamné à réécrire 20 ans de site web....

Merci pour l'envoi du fichier. Nous avons identifié le problème.

Le fichier, créé à l'origine avec FrontPage, utilise l'ancien encodage Windows-1252. Phoenix prend en charge de nombreux encodages, mais la détection automatique peut parfois manquer certains anciens fichiers comme celui-ci et les ouvrir en UTF-8.

En attendant notre prochaine version prévue en novembre, vous pouvez utiliser cette solution :

1. Ouvrez le fichier dans Phoenix.
2. Cliquez sur l'encodage dans la barre d'état et sélectionnez Windows-1252.
   
3. Rechargez ensuite Live Preview à l'aide de l'icône de rechargement dans le panneau Live Preview.
   

Faites cela avant de modifier ou d'enregistrer le fichier. Évitez de l'enregistrer pendant que les caractères apparaissent sous forme de ?, car cela pourrait enregistrer ces caractères incorrects dans le fichier.

Nous avons déjà amélioré la détection des anciens encodages pour la prochaine version.

Thank you for sending the file. We identified the issue.

The file was originally created with FrontPage and uses the legacy Windows-1252 encoding. Phoenix supports many file encodings, but automatic detection can sometimes miss older files like this and open them as UTF-8.

Until our next release, planned for November, please use this workaround:

1. Open the file in Phoenix.
2. Click the encoding in the status bar and select Windows-1252.
3. Then reload Live Preview using the reload icon in the Live Preview panel.

Please do this before making any edits or saving the file. Avoid saving while the characters are showing as ?, as this could save those incorrect characters into the file.

We have already improved legacy encoding detection for the next release.
