"ImportError: cannot import name 'url_quote' from 'werkzeug.urls'" #57

Description

@tadwhitaker

Following the tutorial, I encountered the following error when trying to run '(env) $ flask run -p 5001'

  • "ImportError: cannot import name 'url_quote' from 'werkzeug.urls'"

I resolved this by specifying a specific version of Werkzeug based on this Stackoverflow discussion about a new update and that not being referenced correctly by Flask. I added 'Werkzeug==2.2.2' to your requirements.txt and that worked just fine.
