Facts to mention:

1. One can work via WSL. It's important to use Linux FS, not a shared dir because of performance.
2. One can work via Docker + WSL. It's important to use Linux FS, not a shared dir because of performance.
3. Directly via git bash: https://git-scm.com/install/windows installs git, bash and make.
4. Directly via Powershell / CMS — this is worst since it differs from common server environment too much.
