MITAOE Admission Agent – RAG Based AI Assistant

This repository contains an AI-powered Admission Assistant built using Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and deployed on IBM WatsonX. The agent provides accurate, real-time responses to student queries related to the admission process at MIT Academy of Engineering (MITAOE), Pune.

Overview

The assistant retrieves institutional data and augments it with generative capabilities to answer questions naturally. It covers:

  • Branch-wise cutoff details
  • Fee structure and scholarships
  • Required documents and deadlines
  • Campus life, clubs, and placement records

How to Use

  1. Open and run the Admission Agent.ipynb notebook.
  2. Ensure IBM WatsonX credentials and deployment config are active.
