Why did we rename this? NoGUI was more accurate. Devices without a GPU can still use the other images with software rendering.

This config 0 which is historically used for AM62L. AM64 and AM62D, previously had no UI-based layers, but now includes meta-slint. AM62L also gets an LVGL demo from this config. Since the config does include UI components nongpu is a more accurate name than nonui.

Uh, sure. I'll just try to ignore this then instead of indicating how it would have been better to make a new image name for am62l / am62d in the main config than to hijack the old am64 / nonui config.
