Nuxt 4 is required. The module no longer supports Nuxt 3. Nothing else in your configuration changes on that account.

The proxy forwards three headers, not all of them. Only the user-agent, the content-type and an x-forwarded-for carrying the visitor's IP travel on to Plausible. See Proxy Configuration for why, and reach for a server route of your own if you relied on another header arriving.

enabled: false removes the proxy route. The event route used to be registered on proxy alone, so a build with tracking switched off still answered on /_plausible/api/event and forwarded whatever it received. It no longer registers. If you were posting to that route from something other than this module, keep enabled on and switch tracking off where you call it instead.
