SCP-7614 (?)
SCP-7614 is a seemingly ordinary, damaged pico projector that, when plugged into a device, allows people to physically enter and explore the projected movie or show as a three-dimensional world. Inside these "filmic spaces," individuals can move freely, even interacting with characters and objects, though the characters usually don't acknowledge them, and significant actions can alter the film's events. However, navigating these spaces is dangerous because scene changes or time jumps can cause the entry point back to reality to disappear or move, making it easy to get lost. Further exploration revealed a recurring "vespine pattern" or "constellation" linked to wasps and a sense of impending doom within these nested filmic realities, ultimately leading one test subject, D-917404, to a profound and unsettling discovery before his eventual death.
Inherently funny word (?)
The article "Inherently funny word" describes words that are humorous even without any specific context, often due to their sound rather than their meaning. Vaudeville tradition suggests that words containing the "k" sound are particularly funny, a notion supported by some experiments. Modern research also indicates that the humor in certain words, including nonsense words, can be linked to whether they resemble rude terms or to their "entropy," which refers to the improbability of their letter combinations. This concept aligns with the idea that humor often arises from violated expectations, as unusual letter patterns can create a sense of unexpectedness.
